How old is Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre?
The Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre was designed in 1969 by Victoria architect John Di Castri. The centre opened its doors in 1971.
Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre was originally built as an 8 lane, 50 metre aquatic facility. The multi-purpose spaces, fitness spaces, weight rooms, cardio areas and a fitness circuit were not original to the building.
Although the building has undergone a several improvements in the intervening 48 years, it has not been significantly upgraded.
